In 2019, architecture students from the world-renowned Rural Studio, a design/build program at Auburn University, assembled the Plugin House in 5 hours. Rural Studio will be the permanent home for the Plugin House demonstration unit, contributing to the program's long-term engagement with the surrounding community.
